Inconel Machined Parts

Inconel which are specified for their strength and aqueous corrosion resistance is a difficult metal to shape and machine. This is because its resistance to heat makes it difficult to form, deform, and otherwise weaken for malleability along with rapid work hardening tends to drastically deform either the Inconel part or the tool being used. Because Inconel is incredibly strong, the machining systems that work on them need to be run at slower feed rates and a lower RPM level or has a tendency to chip and break under machining equipment and processes.
